Field trip to Trade Affairs Ltd

TCC Editorial crew On Wednesday, 29th September 2021, the editorial crew paid a visit to the TRADE AFFAIRS LTD.  The aim of the visit was for an educational purpose, to observe how offset printing tasks are carried out. Trade Affairs Ltd is a Printing Press located at Olorunsola Street off Olateju Street, Challenge Mushin. We met the Manager, Mr. SHOLA and the Industry supervisor, Mr ADAMS PEKUN who took the team round explaining what each of the printers does.  TCC crew with Mr SHOLA (centre) and Mr Adams (second left) The Contract Chronicle Team with the management of Trade Affairs The printing job starts with laying of the design on the accepted paper format (which could be A0, A1 or A2) on a plate taking cognisance of the colors available in the design. The A2 printer is used for one colour printing while the Heidelberg 4 edge Offset printer is used to print 2 color designs. She got to a bar close to her office, walked up to the counter, ordered for a drink when she saw a man lamenting over his frustrated life. The Winter Night

 Written by Ella photo credit: Ella On a cold winter night, laid a shivering deer with its antlers almost torn out of its head. Its presence made the snow have a shade of pink stain glittering next to the clean pile of snow. The creature was in pain, due to the gunshot sustained from a vicious ruthless hunter, who kills for scores and food. The wounded deer kept on whinnying until a little girl opened her back door to deliver the basket of hays to her father’s racing horses wh en she caught sight of the dying animal and gasped out loud. It was the most magnificent creature she’d ever came across with in her entire life. Looking back, she heard loud snore s coming from her parents’ bedroom and raced towards the injured deer. Patting the bloody head, she tore a couple of clothing from her dress and tenderly wrapped it around the bleeding antlers. Dusk was saying goodbye and dawn was drawing near. The little girl gathered all the strength she could find and assisted the deer to a shelter
